At E&G, Vanessa is responsible for the Legal Department and Compliance area. Vanessa is a experienced professional in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT), risk management, and regulatory law, with over a decade of experience in compliance in the financial and corporate services industry. She leads the Risk and Compliance team in our Sao Paulo office, where she is responsible for developing and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and international best practices, as well as overseeing and implementing risk assessment and mitigation initiatives.

 

Vanessa has experience in Brazilian criminal law with experience in criminal law firms in the city of São Paulo and at the Itaim Bibi District Police Station.
